Peta + wow = facepalm

You all know PETA…the group fo the Ethical Tasting Treatment of Animals, the same group that managed to kill about 21.000 cats and dogs since 1998 petakillsanimals.com well they are now going tongue in cheek and planned to grief some Horde players because of actions done in game.

The proper response is /facepalm.

“That’s right, gamers, get ready: This Saturday, World of Warcraft (WoW) players will have the opportunity to combat a team of four Horde seal killers. We need your help to stop them from bashing in the heads of any more seals!” reads a post on PETA’s blog.

“Activists from across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor are banding together to put a stop to the atrocious seal slaughter. Anyone who slaughters baby seals for their fur must surely be in service to the evil Lich King.”

Ok so even if they are organizing this to make a little noise and even if it is tongue in cheek PETA is still a bunch of ass. Just ask Penn and Teller what they think about PETA.

The only real good thing PETA has ever done is to tell chicks to go naked and for that they should be commended. Making chicks take their clothes off will always benefit society in my book.

Personally I am convinced the Horde players in question are actually PETA members sick of Ingrid Newkirk’s bullsh*t and trying to vent some steam. What I also find funny is that the event is not even going to happen on a PVP server. Imagine the mayhem of thousands of players ganking the little PETA group.

So if this week end you see a PETA member, how about giving them a demonstration of the Fish Slapping Dance. There…you just found a use for that 32 pound grouper you have in your bank.
